This isn’t going to be a a long post. After I almost sat down to do this, I remembered the clothes in the dryer and had to go take care of them.
I’m gradually feeling better. Some of the things I did today were working on the lesson helps (three of them) putting in anchors and links and links in the lessons. A giveaway will be coming up (yes, you read it right—a giveaway) and I did some on that post. I called the clinic and left a message for my PCPs nurse that the height recorded by the pulmonologist’s nurse was wrong. My cousin called and said the pictures for her project had messed up and would I recopy the ones she had on the counter at her house. Went over and got them. Printed two prints each just in case.
A sadness…I called a friend I hadn’t talked to for a long time to let her know when God in Shoes is going to be this year. She told me her husband had died suddenly a few weeks ago. She’d found him in the night and he was already gone. I posted on my church group to please pray for her.
When I took the pictures to my cousin, she showed me the ones they are to replace. It had to be the heat in her van that did it. The film she’d laminated them with had bubbled.
We were talking about counting beans. She counts out (I think) 249 beans to eat. No more. No less. I told her about Genese’s daughter counting the beans in a bag and she has the urge to count the grains of rice when she cooks it. We started talking about different kinds of rice and my cousin said she likes yellow rice. I pointed out it’s actually white rice with saffron and turmeric. THEN my CIL started singing “Mellow Yellow”. That song will probably be going through my head for days now.
I’ve done lots of other stuff today, too, but if I take time to tell it, I won’t get to bed sooner than later.
