I haven’t felt top-notch and I think I can blame it on yesterday—unless it’s pure laziness. The dealership was quite cool and I got thoroughly chilled. When I went to bed last night, I had the beginnings of a sore throat. It seemed to be gone when I got up but I was moving pretty slowly.
What with all the rain we’ve been having, it appears the tomato plants have the blight. The volunteers are starting to produce so I went out early this morning and tied them up. If there hadn’t been any volunteers or donations from my CIL, I wouldn’t have attempted tomatoes this year. Where they’re concerned, my green thumb has turned black.
My cough has come back. It never truly went away but it seems to be worse. DD wanted to know if I still have pneumonia. I told her no. I hope I’m right.
This afternoon, my sister sent this video. It would be terrible if it were real.
I thank her. I needed that.
My cousin called and told me her friend’s mother died. She’d been in the hospital for more than two weeks and they thought the end had come several times. She’d turned 99 in April so that was a ripe old age. The arrangements haven’t been finalized yet but she’ll let me know when they are.
Twinkle has gotten to be an expert at hiding. I’ll start looking for her and sometimes I’ll find her and sometimes not. At the moment, she’s on my lap. She isn’t going to like being disturbed so I can dose her.
Genese has been out of pocket today. She’s pretty much got a couple of our games sewed up.
It’s still early but I think I’ll hit the hay shortly.
