My chiropractor retired so I would have to find another. Might do that before I go to the urologist.

Thanks for the good words about my blog. Allyoucanupload has gone belly up so I need to find those photos wherever I have them stored and put them back. There are several more sprinkled around the site so it will take a little while.

Used to like Hondas? What happened?

Thanks and the same to you! :D

Sue, just wanted to say that if you are having back problems, you should see a chiropractor. I was in a head on collision on 7/3/2008 while riding my motorcycle through an intersection. I was catapulted off my bike, over the hood of the car, flipped through the air a few times and crash landed on my right butt cheek about 25' away from the crash site. My pelvis was twisted and the impact caused deep bone, muscle and nerve bruising. My organs in the pelvic region all prolapsed.

While I did not have incontinence, I had what one urologist said was interstitial cystitis. I wouldn't buy it because all of my symptoms started after my wreck.
I have a phenomenal chiropractor and if it weren't for him, I'd be on a year-long drug therapy and doing some bladder installation once a week. PFFFTTT!!!

Anyway, flaxseed oil helped to accelerate the healing of my nerves and my chiropractor got my pelvis back where it belongs and my problems are 99.9% GONE! Now, had I listened to the "specialist" I would still be taking drugs and Lord only knows what other problems I'd have. I highly recommend going the chiropractic route before doing any drugs.

Tommie, your blog is wonderful! I'm really enjoying it, but I was sad that your photos at the bottom of before and during are now red x's. =(

Congrats on the Honda. I had an 87 Honda Accord for 10 years (125k miles) and my ex had an 82 Honda Accord for 200k miles, then an 86 Honda Accord hatchback after the 82. Oh, and we both had Honda motorcycles AND a Honda lawnmower!! LOL!! I used to like Honda's cars.

Wishing you a Rawesome Christmas!

That last case study is very interesting. I don't void that often but it's something to think about, anyway, and to suggest to the specialist when I go see him next month.

Hi Tommie. I sympathize with you and will definitely pray for you. My DH had a bout with prostatitis not long ago (possibly related to having overdone some marathon training). We did lots of research and came across information about a physiotherapy for pelvic floor trigger point release. I found this site to pass along to you:

You can refuse the meds. That's what I've done and will continue to do. The sling isn't for urge incontinence. It can even make it worse. I want to try the PFS. That, along with the nerve stimulation the woman in the video was getting, look like the best options for me.

Yes, a problem! Me too in the past year. Yesterday morning I didn't make it even tho the commode is not too far from bed. Is there a root (!) case of this class of problems? I only had 2 children; never had problems earlier in life, but all of a sudden I need to Twinkle as soon as I get even a muffled message! DH had this problem due to nerve damage from an accident when being a carpenter. I am wondering about back problems, which I have, as a cause. Have not gone to a dr. yet; and don't want those meds I see on TV at all. Don't know about slings, etc. Except it sounds like that means a short hospitalization--which right now is a no, no! Ugh.

One good thing for you is that you are serving at least myself in this blog. Tanks.
