Blogging Addiction

Can there be such a thing? Do I have it if there is? I have been blogging almost every day for over two and a half years and there is, seemingly, no end in sight. I’ve changed the subtitle from “EMBARKING” to “LIVING” and since I plan to eat raw the rest of my life, seems it’s a life sentence. One sentence at a time. In spite of my plea for feedback, I have heard from one person. Makes me wonder if more people than just my sister can’t see my blog. I know the forum participation is ‘way down since merm did some tweaking. He tells me things will get better but the 48 hours he predicted is long past. I’ll hang in there and hope for the best.

Yesterday was my vision therapy day. I was pleased that my left eye continues to improve. I’ve been doing what I think of as “eye pushups” though they might be better referred to as “pushouts”. I close my eyes and push my eyeballs forward—kind of “bug” them out. The movement is barely perceptible but the results are pronounced. One day, I had visible eyestrain in my right eye. After I had done that for a couple of minutes, it was gone.

Regarding eyestrain, I had to take the privacy screen off my monitor at work. That telltale streak was on my right eye almost constantly. The monitor is on its last legs, anyway, and I’ve requested a new one. Since I’m not having to “strain” to see, the streak is gone. When I called to find out what the status of my request was, the woman I talked to said she had to do the same thing—get rid of the screen. My monitor is turned in a direction that keeps people from easily seeing what’s on it, anyway, so I don’t know why I need it. The situation was different when I first had to get it.

Valentine Day Raw Food

Valentine Noodles34 ozzies grapefruit juice
30 ozzies banana/mango/spinach/agave/ACV smoothie
24 ozzies banana/romaine smoothie
2.5 apples (1 Jazz, 1 Ambrosia, 1 Golden Delicious)
1 cucumber
2 tomatoes, 1/2 avocado, red onion, kelp noodles, seasoned with a dusting of chili pepper, taco seasoning, Cajun seasoning, onion powder, and garlic powder

I got balloon bouquets for each of the registrars who were at work today. They got me one, too, that was held down by a banana. One of the girls brought me two speckled bananas from her DD. Someone from another department gave me a banana she thought was getting too ripe but it isn’t even ready yet. I have bananas for tomorrow! I sent a bouquet to my friend and she was thrilled. There were four balloons. She said she’d never gotten so many at once. I’ll have to remember to pay for them tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, it’s too close for comfort. I need to get to bed. I feel ickiness coming on. The office is full of sick people every day and I’m letting my defenses get weak again with getting to bed too late. Gotta stop that! Right now! Good night!

I always read your food lists. I could live without it if it’s too much trouble, but I certainly don’t skip over them.

Thanks, Chris. I won’t make a snap decision. It IS a good exercise for my brain and I hear that’s good to stave off Alzheimer’s. 😀

Do you still have a long wait to load my blog?
