That’s what he said. A young man who spends his life feeling bad told me that today. I went in the bathroom and looked in the mirror and he was right. That means this will be brief tonight and I’m getting to bed shortly if it kills me. Well, not quite that extreme but I’ll try my hardest. On top of looking tired, I feel like I may be catching cold. With the late nights and early mornings, it could easily happen.
My exercise was LSEs, standing routine, and a 65 second pushup. A significant drop.
100% Raw Food
30 ozzies grapefruit juice
36 ozzies banana/mixed berries/spinach smoothie
36 ozzies banana/romaine smoothie
3 Hachiya persimmons (eaten at work!)
4 tomatoes with Tajin (see FAQ if you don’t know what Tajin is)
Smallish salad of organic greens (romaine & red leaf), cucumber, kelp noodles, dressed with lime juice & EVOO dressing
My friend was in bed dozing when I walked into the room this afternoon. Her roommate started singing “Wake Up Little Susie” and told her she had company. After she opened her eyes, we had a short visit.
Got my kelp noodles today. They are really different. I couldn’t figure out what to do with them that would be quick so I put them in my salad. It was good and the noodles softened the longer they stayed in the dressing. I think they’d be a lot like regular noodles if I marinated them. They don’t have any flavor of their own which is okay by me. If they did, it would probably be fishy. The texture is crunchy, not unlike raw mung bean sprouts. They are also just a little bit “springy”. One package has three servings and I don’t think I could eat more than that. I’ll have to come up with some creative ways to fix them. One serving provides 15% of the RDA for calcium which is quite impressive.
My morning showers are convincing me that the average temperature is getting lower. The cold water I end with seems colder every time I rinse off. Sure feels good when I stop.
It’s time for my beauty sleep. If I hurry, I can have this posted and be in bed by 9:30. Good night!
