Monday, Monday!

I was up shortly after the alarm alarmed. I did my LSEs, other exercises in my standing routine, and a 91 second pushup. Getting better!

100% Raw Food

32 ozzie banana/blueberry/spinach smoothie
36 ozzie banana/romaine smoothie
4 tomatoes, 2 cucumbers
4 persimmons (1 Fuyu, 3 Hachiya) (wonderfully delicious!)
2 Bubbies pickles
A few forkfuls kim chee (organic)
Medium salad of organic romaine, red leaf, cucumber, green onion, tomato, dressed with Cashew Cheese (people put cheese on their salads so why not?)

When I got to work, I found out the hospital family has had another death—the husband of one of the employees. He was only 50. Sad.

I was the bank/post office person this morning but didn’t go this afternoon. It was cold and windy. I can believe it when the weatherman says the windchill is going to bring what it really is down much lower as far as feeling is concerned. I was glad to get back inside.

My friend is doing pretty well. Hopefully, that will hold true for tomorrow, too. We visited for a little while and she walked me out into the hall.

This evening, I was watching the news and saw the hairy weather the Great Northwest is having. I tried to call my sister twice and got her answering machine both times. The memory is full so I couldn’t leave a message. The way my calling card shows up on Caller ID makes it impossible for her to know it’s me. At least they have power. The answering machine wouldn’t work at all without it.

Tomorrow, a higher speed line is being installed for the hospital. We have a T1 but this is a DS3 or T3. I read they are synonymous. Wish they could put here at my house, too. There is a grant that’s making it all possible. Yea for grants! There will be, possibly, an hour when we can’t get on the computers. Think they’ll let me come home? I doubt it.

My DD and I didn’t have our visit yesterday so I called her tonight. We talked barely more than 15 minutes. She and merm are doing well. Busy as usual.

Almost an hour ago, I got an e-mail from Rick Matt of www.mattfamilyorchard.com that he will be shipping me some Fuyus tomorrow. We were talking today and he said he just realized he should offer fruit shipments on his web site. I told him I’d be glad to be a beta site to see how the fruit would hold up. He laughed like I was joking but I wouldn’t mind. 8) I found out about him from one of the forum members. She goes out and picks persimmons for $1 a lub. He ships them for $1.25 a lub plus shipping that, like he says, tears him up. The shipping is more than the persimmons. A girl’s gotta eat.

And sleep. It’s pushing 10:30 and I’m gone. Good night!
