It’s a miracle!

Ever since I wrote that I was aggravated about the neighbor’s livestock raiding my compost pile, they haven’t been seen. I don’t know if they are gone or just penned up. Either way, the pile is undisturbed. I want to get a composter but the one I’ve been looking at is backordered at every company that sells it. I can’t even find it online at the moment but I don’t want to stay up until midnight looking on this wonderful dialup, anyway.

I did my BodyFlex and a few of my other exercises after I got up pretty much on time. The alarm still had to wake me up so that means I’m sleep deprived. No big surprise there.

100% Raw Food

23 ozzies grapefruit juice
30 ozzies banana/blueberry/spinach smoothie
30 ozzies banana/romaine smoothie
2 tomatoes with a large pickling cucumber
3 kiwifruit (made my tongue sore)
1 Hichaya, 2 Fuyus
Medium salad of romaine, tomato, cucumber, avocado, dressed with lime juice/NO SALT

I’d hauled around three persimmons for days. I took them out of my tote this morning and will eat persimmons at home.

Nothing earthshaking happened today. I visited my friend’s roommate and had a short conversation with Friend, herself. She was pretty tired. This time, she’s sure she’ll be back soon.

The roadside market is supposed to have romaine tomorrow. I’m going to hide and watch and see if it really does. I’m planning to go food shopping on Sunday no matter what.

I’m sitting here trying to think of something to write. If it’s that hard I doubt that it’s worth taking the time to put down. I’ll let this be it for tonight and say sweet dreams!

    Are you already eating the persimmons you had shipped from California? Mine are still hard as rocks! Don’t think I’ll be enjoying them anytime soon. Do you have any tips on getting them to ripen more quickly?

    Did you get yours from Nora or from Dario? The ones from Dario are Fuyus and you can eat them at any stage, though I let mine get rather soft. The others are Hichaya/Hachiya (I’ve seen it spelled both ways) and have to be borderline rotten to eat so you don’t get a furry mouth. I keep mine in a warm place, though I turn the heat down when I’m at work and at night. You just have to have patience. Dr. D. says to buy persimmons at Thanksgiving to eat Christmas. I’ve eaten lots of the Fuyus but my initial order was several weeks ago. As for the others, I’ve had maybe a half dozen that were ready.
