It was back to my usual routine.

I was up fairly early for Sabbath because I was going to have to leave to pick up my friend for church. When I was getting ready to fix breakfast, CallWave alerted me and it was the registrar on duty saying that I needed to call. When I did, it was only to find out she was backing out. Not unusual. I halfway expected it. I did fuss at her for having the registrar be her messenger. I’d gotten her a calling card yesterday. At first she said she forgot having it and then she said she couldn’t figure out how to use it. She apologized and we hung up.

100% Raw Food

32 ozzies OJ/strawberry/agave smoothie
32 ozzies banana/mango/spinach/agave smoothie
Kim chee
4 tomatoes
24 ozzies OJ
4 persimmons Persimmon Pudding
Salad of iceberg lettuce, tomato, cucumber, dressed with a variation of my cashew dressing (I left out the herbs and put in a teaspoon of curry powder—it wasn’t half bad)

I had killed a young coconut but I couldn’t figure out if it had started going bad or if it was so young there was little to no meat. I didn’t take a chance and used it to water my basil and one little tiny dill plant that came up in the planter. I’m down to one good-sized basil plant and two small ones. The two that were in the other planter bit the dust. My green thumb has turned brown.

The registrar called this evening to let me know there was a death in a hospital employee’s family. It’s very sad when that happens but this was especially sad because it’s a child. He was born with the condition spinal muscular atrophy. He was a beautiful little boy with an attentive young mother. He was her only child and he got the best of care. He went through a lot in his young life but he’s at rest now. I feel so sorry for his mother. Her arms will ache for her baby.

With that I will say good night and rest well.
