I soaked in the tub for awhile earlier and will soak some more before I go to bed.
When I got through with the preliminaries, I had a half hour left to exercise. I went through BodyFlex and the LSEs.
100% Raw Food
31 ozzies banana/peach/spinach smoothie
28 ozzies banana/romaine smoothie
1 large tomato and 1 pickling cucumber chunked up in a bowl
Lots of scuppernongs
2 tomatoes with Tajin (they didn’t even taste good)
I walked three laps this morning. I intended to do three more this afternoon but the time slipped away from me.
My friend from another department came in to talk to me and I stuck my feet out in front of me and started rotating my feet at my ankles. It’s a habit I have. Don’t know if it’s good or bad but I do it. She wanted to know why I was doing that and I said I was exercising my ankles. She sat down and stuck her feet out and challenged me to see how long we could hold that position. I still had mine up when she had to go do something else (yeah, right!). She accused me of having the better chair so I told her later we’d do it again tomorrow and swap. Now she says her thighs are sore. Wuss!
The copier started jamming again at the sorter. I called in for service. The woman wanted to know if I wanted to talk to a tech who might be able to walk me through the repair. Well, NO!!!
I went by the fruit stand and got some more peaches and scuppernongs. The peaches are really good for this time of year.
It was after I got home that I remembered to call Nancy. She isn’t too encouraged about the produce for tomorrow. She said she may have some tomatoes and sweet peppers. I asked about paw paw. She’s planning to make a trip to the woods to see if there is any on Friday. She thinks the late freeze may have killed them. She’s been seeing persimmon seed in animal droppings. I just may be able to get some native ones after a good frost. I’d like to be able to freeze some. She’ll call me in the morning with what she can bring me this week.
Elchanan had asked me to call him for an update. We had a relatively short conversation.
My sister called tonight. We visited for less than 20 minutes. She said she was tired. I wonder why? She’s been taking care of a lively grandson and his big sister. It was the granddaughter’s birthday and the relatives from the father’s side of the family had been there for a celebration.
If I hurry, I can be in bed by 9:30. There really isn’t anything else to tell about my day. Good night!
