I’m up in the wee

I’m sitting here at almost 2 am with a pain in my gut that seems like it can’t be anything else but gallbladder (unless it’s a hiatal hernia). I’ve been drinking water (I’m on my third glass) and am planning on doing a water only fast today. It hurts! It hurts through to my back which makes me believe it’s gallbladder. I had half an avocado for supper and spicy food, both about the worst things I could have eaten under the circumstances.

I’ve soaked in the tub for awhile and put a vibrating pillow to my back. My muscles feel like they are tied in knots. I got to bed at 10:18 and was still awake at 10:30. I know I drifted off after that because I was dreaming I was on the subway and participating in a forum that could only be accessed if I were on the subway. Now, that would be different. It was one of those uneasy, almost feverish dreams you have when you don’t feel good.

One of the girls (literally) on the forum is going through an even worse time with her gallbladder. She is planning to have surgery—at age 16! She has been losing weight on raw but the damage has been done. I don’t know the length of time she was on the Atkins weight loss plan. That, along with an almost lifelong diet standard to most Americans, has made her miserable.

I’m hoping my misery is something that “came to pass” as my mother was fond of saying. She maintained her favorite phrase in the Bible was “and it came to pass”—it didn’t come to stay.

It’s after 2. I’ve been going to the bathroom and hope I’ll get it all out so I can sleep. I was exhibiting a sign of dehydration yesterday (I could pinch the skin on the back of my hand and it would stay “peaked” and go down slowly) and am wondering if It could be connected with that. Maybe rehydration is what I need.

I had to disturb Twinkle yet again (she has been wanting on my lap whenever and wherever I sit down) to get up and go potty. If my family will be embarrassed by the next revelation, they can skip this part. I have had several BMs since I’ve been drinking my water. That could indicate that I’ve been constipated and didn’t know it. It could go back to the flight home and not drinking enough water then. Scary to think I could have been carrying all that around for days.

Well, Twinkle is back. She is currently kneading my thigh in anticipation of settling down and I’m getting up soon to go back to the tub. I got out of my soak so I could drink water and start the distiller so I can have plenty of water to drink the rest of today.

Good morning! Pray I can get some sleep.

yeah the docs said that the surgery isn’t what it use to be…it is labro…wut you said. LOL.

They showed me a pic of my gallbladder and I can even SEE it!

Whats worse is I KNOW how it feels! OUCH

But I can’t wait until all this stuff is over.

My aunt says that if my grandma still had her gallbladder she would be going through this.

    Its Highly genetic.

I talked to Elchanan today and he agrees that it’s the celery that hasn’t digested. I know you’re anxious to have yours over. My pain isn’t even close to yours. I’ve been there, done that, and this is mild in comparison. It’s just lasted SO LONG.
