It’s been an eventful day.

I haven’t gotten everything done that I intended to. If I had, it would have been a first. I did get a lot accomplished in spite of Happenings.

Since today was to be Getting Ready to Go Day, I didn’t exercise.

100% Raw Food

I don’t remember how much OJ and mango blended together
11 ozzies of OJ by itself
34 ozzies banana/romaine smoothie
2 quarts watermelon
2 quarts salad (part of the romaine for both the smoothie and the salad were organic) dressed with lime juice/EVOO dressing
2.5 cups salsa with avocado

I’ve tried to be very careful what I bought so I won’t have a lot of food to give away. I plan to take whatever there is over to the neighbors. At this point, it’s precious little. Three Romas, three nectarines, and some greens.

I was washing dishes and pulled the plug out of the sink. I heard water rushing out on the floor. For a split second, I thought, “The sink isn’t running over—where is it coming from?” I looked down and it was pouring out from underneath the sink. I jerked open the door and lo! the pipe had come apart! I put it back together and it seemed to be okay. There was water running all over the floor. I’d planned to clean the floor before I left, anyway, but not right then. I got the mop and went to work. About half the floor got a good scrubbing. On closer inspection, there must have been a slow leak going on for awhile because there was a steel wool pad that was rusted to falling apart. My thinking it was okay was just a thought. When I tried using the sink again, it proceeded to leak. I finished washing dishes in large mixing bowls and threw the water out the front door.

The forum has been a busy place today. It’s picked up three members. One is a 16 year old girl who has an amazing story to tell. She’s going to be a force to be reckoned with in the raw food world.

I’ve had the Hawaiian music channel on today and it can get me moving around the house. I tried some of the others and the only other one that appealed to me was the kiddie songs. It has some of the more lighthearted hits from people like Elvis and Perry Como.

Tomorrow will be an early day. I have so much stuffed into the inside zipper pocket of my laptop case it’s going to weigh a ton. I plan to carry it on. I still have several things to do to be ready to go. I’m to meet the pastor’s wife at the hospital at 9 am CDT. That’s an hour later than I usually go down the mountain.

I just got an e-mail from my daughter. I need to print off the information so I can get from the airport to their apartment without a hitch.

Good night!
