It must’ve been a good downpour because a small container I leave for water to take care of the tomato plants between times was full. I got a rain gauge but all it has recorded is a couple of drops. It’s been out one day, so far.
I was up and attem and did my exercises up to and including a 94 second pushup.

My sister called to find out what I’d found out which was very little. The person I needed to talk to was out of pocket so I talked to someone else. From what I was told, there shouldn’t be any problem with my BIL being transferred. She sounded so down. This has been very hard on her. And it’s hard for me to be so far away and not be able to be more than long distance and e-mail support.
I got out and walked three laps this morning. It was very pleasant out. We’d gotten a nice rain and it was cool.
I’d been thinking about my sister and couldn’t really concentrate on my work. I called her and she sounded so much better. All the arrangements were made and the transfer took place this afternoon. She was going to see him and take him some food. Such places aren’t known for their cuisine. My BIL was relieved to get out of the dungeon. I’m sure he will be more satisfied after that experience than if he had gone straight back from the hospital. He thought he was going to be left in the Dismal Room and was distressed.
One of the staff is leaving on vacation tomorrow. She brought in some tomatoes for the rest of us to share. I told one of the girls I’d make some salsa if she’d get the chips. She agreed.
I called My Farmer and put in my order. Later, she called me back and said she’d forgotten she was going to a seminar tomorrow and could she put my delivery off until Thursday. With as much food as I have around, I told her that would be fine.
When I got home, I opened the packages with the stuff to de-gunk the house. I need more protective gear (sounds scary) before I can use it. I decided I’ll get things together this week and do that on Sunday.
I’m up late because of the salsa. The tomatoes were very juicy and I ended up having to strain it. It was more like sauce than salsa. I used one of my sister’s green peppers in it. The juice I drank reminded me of V8. Except better. I ended up with three cups of very seedy salsa. Not my best work. I’m not making more tonight. I might make some tomorrow afternoon to redeem myself. We’ll see.
That’s pretty much my day. I need to get to bed so I can get up and do it again. Good night!
