I woke later than I should have (slept through the alarm again) but I still did my vision therapy. When I first started, my left eye was blurrier than usual but it had cleared up by the time I got halfway through. I failed to do one of the two minute exercises but it was both eyes together that I’d already done four minutes separately so it was no biggie.

I walked fairly early in the day before it got up to the high of 94 degrees. That was the only time I attempted it. I started over on the teleconference. I’ve just put another one on my Micro so I’ll have something different to listen to. The one with Dr. D. is so outstanding, I could listen to it over and over (and I have).
My older son called me to ask how to fix poke sallit. I gave him directions and hoped for the best. He had thought someone (maybe me?) put it in salad but I wouldn’t dare eat it raw. He said it was awfully quiet at the house. My DIL was at her job as church secretary and my granddaughter is also gainfully employed. She is helping clean the church. I don’t know if it’s more than one day a week or not. It’s quite a large facility. That’s a lot of responsibility for a 12 year old but I’m sure she’s up to the task.
Nancy brought me my produce but no corn. I told her she keeps putting me off about the corn but she said she’ll have some next week for sure. The tomatoes she brought are beautiful (no big ones this time, though) but I stopped on the way home and got some more so I’ll have enough to do me for a few days. I got purple ruffled basil and it’s so pretty I should take a picture of it but I won’t tonight.
I’d forgotten to wash my greens for tomorrow. I had to take a break from blogging to do that. There’s a lot of waste to them. I’ll be looking forward to the organic grocery!
Which brings me to—tomorrow is when I go to Trade, as my mother would say. I’ll hit all the stores in a 25 mile radius. Not really, but it feels like it. I need to get to bed since it’s bound to be a long day.
I’ll have some money to help out. I was looking for the check from CafePress that came the other day and I also found my refund from the IRS and a check from one of the girls at work. The commission check will help pay me back for the expense of the forum. It’s up to 212 members! Every once in awhile, someone joins who is a participant and not just there to lurk. Makes it much more interesting.
It’s past my bedtime, the katydids are chirping away (I’m going to record them one of these nights and put the file on here so people can hear what I hear), and I’ll say, “Good night!”
