Katydid!

They were in full voice at my son’s place but barely starting here. Maybe it will frost sooner that far south? Or have they been killed off by pesticide use and there aren’t enough to make a choir?

I was up past 11 last night for no good reason. I got into playing RusCell and beat my own personal best time to come in at one minute 37 seconds. Big whoop.

This morning, I got up to use the bathroom and crawled back into bed after. My eyemask was on the bedside table so I put it on and went back to sleep. I got up at 8:45. Late for me.

I did all of my exercises, including a 76 second pushup. Still not back to my best time of 85 seconds. A shower was next. Don’t know why, but my trunk was broken out in little clear bumps, almost blister-like. There are still some on my chest tonight. Maybe it’s heat rash? It’s 84 in the house now but I’m comfortable. People who eat raw food generally have a lower normal temp than people who eat cooked and can tolerate higher temperatures. Of course, that isn’t an advantage in the winter but I just put on more clothes.

A little after 10, I went out for an hour in the sun and listened to the teleconference with Dr. D. I finished it and started over. I’ve e-mailed AGAIN to see if I can get permission to post the link here. I did get an e-mail saying it was okay to give the link to my family members but I know there are people who read my blog and participate on the forum who would love to have that resource. My family members probably aren’t so excited.

100% Raw Food

Breakfast
3 quarts watermelon

Lunch
10 baby bananas

Snack
A few marinated mushrooms
24 ozzies banana/spinach smoothie
6 peaches with 8 ozzies organic blueberries

Supper
Corn chowder with three ears of corn
A few bites of tomato/threw the rest away

An explanation of the tomatoes. The organic tomatoes I bought have rotted instead of ripening. The ones that I’ve used are mealy inside and not juicy. I used two of them and two better tomatoes (hated to waste them) and the mealy ones made the others yucky, too. Plus, I had three ears of corn in my belly and I didn’t need the tomatoes, anyway. I didn’t have enough in the way of calories today and too much fat. I told my sister I’m going to have to get myself in gear when I retire and do better. I’ll need to set up a routine that includes meals.

I got an e-mail from another sister that they’ll be coming over in a couple of weeks to go to a play and wanted to know if I’d be interested in going, too. Of course, I would! I’ve seen it twice but it’s a good ‘un. It was nice of her to think of me.

My daughter called before 2 and I called her back then she called me back. She had called earlier but I was outside putting sheets and towels on the line. It was a perfect day for it. We visited for not quite an hour, then went our separate ways.

Twinkle was standing in the doorway looking out into the dark and hissing to beat the band. I walked over and turned on the outside light but there was nothing there. I don’t know what she thought she saw or if she was just smelling something alarming. And she didn’t say.

My bed is all made up and waiting. I think I’ll finish this up and take advantage of it.
