I have got to get this done quickly.

I was up past midnight last night and I’m not going to do that tonight.

Let’s see. I need to catch up yesterday. I got up and had time to do my BodyFlex and part of the LSEs.

Food:

Breakfast
20 ozzies grapefruit juice
Some kind of green smoothie (do you expect me to remember what the ingredients were?)

Lunch
A green smoothie
4 Ataulfo mangos
1 pickling cucumber

Supper
3 quarts watermelon
3 quarts salad (romaine, red leaf, cucumber, Vidalia onion, tomato, dressed with cashew dressing)
Some coconut bacon

I managed to walk yesterday morning but I was waiting for the lady from the CSA to bring me greens, etc., and I didn’t get to in the afternoon.

Nothing earthshaking that I can recall so we’ll go on to today.

This morning, I did my vision therapy. I could see fully as well with my left eye as with my right up close. I could still see at a distance better with my right eye.

Food

Breakfast
20 ozzies OJ (I’m down to three grapefruit)
30 ozzies banana/romaine smoothie

Lunch
32 ozzies banana/spinach smoothie
2 good flavored but stringy mangos
1 pickling cucumber

Supper
A little over a quart of “chili”
A large salad of romaine, red leaf, Vidalia onion, dressed with tomato/mango dressing
Corn chowder

There was a department head meeting this morning. I went out to walk after it was over and was so lost in thought I forgot how many laps I did. It was at least three and it may have been four. I know I walked for about 20 minutes.

Someone had stamped eight letters with $1.82 each in postage. I learned something new today. I filled out a request for a refund for unused postage and got 90% of it back. There’s a 10% fee for processing it, I guess.

I was so busy this afternoon that I didn’t have time to walk.

It was almost quitting time when I left. I stopped by the cemetery. It was freshly mowed and the arrangement on the grave was intact. There were a few loose pieces that were still there. I anchored them as well as I could. It still looked nice. From there, I went directly to the supermarket to get some Camparis. There weren’t any. I did get some nice watermelons and the ear of corn I used in the chowder. It was on to Wally World from there and the produce was in bad shape. I talked to an assistant manager about it. He apologized all over the place saying they are switching to a different organic supplier and he promised it would be better the next time I came in. I told him I rely on them for a large part of my groceries. I hope it improves. Everything was really sad today. I had the cashier use my Raw Food Lifestyle tote for my groceries. She was surprised when I handed it to her.

I didn’t get home until late. I’d just finished my “chili” when the phone rang. It was my friend in the rehab center. The doctor had been in to see her and she’s being sprung on the 31st. She referred to it as “getting out of jail.” She’s all excited and she has reason to be.

It was too late to be eating but I ate, anyway, and now I’m going to go to bed. It’s going on 11 and I’m yawning. I should be tired but I’m not. I am sleepy, though.

Good night!

    Hey Tommie,

Sorry you were feeling sad today.

I’d love to know what’s in that chili!

I was more disgusted. It was the produce that was sad.

The chili has blended until chunky peeled tomatoes and Tajin. If you want, you can add lemon or lime juice. The Tajin already has lime juice in it but you might want more for a little extra kick.

Thanks, Tommie. I have tried Tajin, but if I buy it, I’ll eat too much salt. LOL!

Anyway, I think I’ll make some of this with real lime juice and some cayenne.

    Thanks again for the inspiration.

Let me know how it turns out. I’ve tried that but maybe not in the right proportions.
