And now for today…

I just posted my rambling about things from over the past weeks so now I’ll get to the present or the recent past.

I was up about the same time this morning as I was yesterday. The difference was that I didn’t have anywhere I had to be at a certain time. I did all of my exercises and held my pushup for 85 seconds! What about me?!

Food:

Breakfast
16 ozzies grapefruit juice (I’m about out again)
About 32 ozzies strawberry/OJ smoothie
9 ozzies OJ

Lunch
34 ozzies banana/mango/spinach smoothie (luscious!)
3 C honeydew
The last two Campari tomatoes

Supper
3 quarts watermelon
4 tomatoes with Tajin
Mango/tomato dressing (I drank it since I was out of good lettuce for a salad)
Cauliflower with Matt’s Dip
A few strips of coconut bacon

I got out for 30 minutes in the sun this morning. It was exceedingly pleasant. I almost dozed off once.

My daughter called when I was having lunch. We talked for almost an hour and caught up on lots of things.

I hadn’t talked to my friend in the rehab center for several days so I gave her a call and we spent about half an hour updating. I multitasked and worked on getting another picture ready to upload to CafePress but that’s as far as I got with it. Maybe tomorrow night…

After we got off the phone, I went out for another 30 minutes of sun. It was warmer than this morning but not bad at all. I was a little pink when I came in.

Today was telephone day. My oldest child Skyped me and talked for over half an hour. He had been to a huge yard sale the university has every spring and fall to benefit the music department. They had participated and sold quite a bit. He’d also participated in buying. He was downloading a driver for a 3 in 1 HP he’d gotten for $5. I haven’t heard yet if it works. The driver was something like 128 MB. He said it would take awhile to download. It would take me about four days and that’s if my connection didn’t go belly-up too often.

The tomato seeds I was fermenting were dry enough to plant. I have three little pots on the windowsill above the kitchen sink. Each of the pots has two seeds in it. Wish me luck! If they grow, I’ll keep them in containers so I can, hopefully, grow them inside this winter.

The forum is without a moderator. Valerie felt she was on the forum too much when she wanted to be doing other things. I can’t fault her for that. It can take up a lot of time, reading through the posts and determining if something is in the wrong place. It doesn’t take policing the members. They are all well-behaved.

It’s getting late and tomorrow is a “school day”. I got an e-mail from yet another reader who is plowing through my whole blog. There were 10 posts to go this morning and now here’s another one. Oh, and there’s the addendum below, too. Good night!
