Who knows what tomorrow will bring (besides raw food)?

I don’t. Some bad weather is supposed to be on its way in tonight. I may not get to work tomorrow. Oh, dear. 🙄 Yeah, right. I’d welcome a day at home but I’ll go in if I can get there safely.

This morning was supposed to be vision therapy but when I looked at the clock, it was going on 7. I have to start it by 6 to get it in. I rolled out and got on with the day.

Breakfast was 20 ozzies of OJ. I blended up some romaine and bananas to take with me since I was so pressed for time. (How unusual!) I didn’t get to do much more than check the forum very briefly. There’s a topic someone started on what kind of soap everyone uses and it’s turned a little strange. You can read about it here.

I had a full staff today (as full as ever any more–we’re always down to a skeleton crew) so I was able to get some of my work done. I felt particularly do-less, though.

My snack was three Clementines. I had a banana/romaine smoothie (I was saving the spinach for supper) and I ate the 4th banana straight up.

One of the girls in the office told me that the local supermarket had bananas three lubs for $1. I cut out for a little while to get some. They’d been put in little bags and were marked 50 cents each. I don’t know how much each bag weighed but I got four. If I get stranded, I have enough bananas to do me.

I stopped and got a box of tomatoes and oranges on the way home. The woman at the stand (it’s really more of a roadside store. It’s enclosed and heated.) was overjoyed that I got them today. She said she wouldn’t have to go in tomorrow if the weather is bad.

I got to the house and unloaded, then I had two persimmons. I ate some mung bean kim chee and tried the current batch of veggie kim chee. It’s getting there but not quite. One of the mangos was ready so I made some Fred’s Mom’s Salad. Someone on the forum read somewhere that papaya is good for skin. Since she didn’t have papaya, she tried mango. Here’s the topic. So…I tried it, too. 😯 I still have dried mango on my face. When I’d finished with the salad, I made some Spinach Soup by the same recipe as last night. I ate all but the last couple bites and I was topped off.

A little while ago, I went to the front door and looked out. Nothing has started falling yet but there wasn’t a star visible anywhere. We’ll see what it’s like in the morning.

I’ve been troubleshooting on the forum. It’s later than I planned to be up. The best laid plans and all that…Good night!

Yep mango is good also. It contains beta-carotene which is good for our eyes and skin. Our bodies converts it into vitamin A. Mangoes, papayas, and bananas are a few foods I use for my facial masques. I usually do this in the evening right before my facial massage. I also use clays on my face. Very good!

How long do you leave it on? Do you splash it off or do you use a washcloth? 😕

I splash it off. I then follow with a deep scrubbing courtesy of my washcloth. My skin glows! After that I apply about 1 tsp of coconut oil on my face. I make a 2 ounce blend to which I’ve essential oils. I usually lavender and frankincense (about two drops of each I mix it thoroughly.) Lavender is very relaxing and frankincense is great for dry & mature skin and I find it very relaxing. It’s also great for your immune system.
