Let’s see if I can write about raw food in 30 minutes.

I was able to get in all of my exercises this morning. Plus I did my skinbrushing, too, and not just my face. I hadn’t gotten to bed even close to on time so it was quite an accomplishment. I know I need more rest, though.

Breakfast was the last four ALDI oranges plus one of my locally sold ones. I fixed a five banana/romaine smoothie to take to work.

There were two reasons I didn’t have to go to the post office. It was Martin Luther King Day and the regular post office/bank person was back. It was rainy and nasty, anyway, and I preferred to stay inside.

I had three Clementines for my snack. It’s a wonder I got to eat them. One of the registrars had a family emergency and had to leave mid-morning. It was pretty busy after that.

My lunch was a five banana/spinach smoothie. I don’t know if it was the bananas that didn’t taste good or the spinach but I couldn’t make myself drink it all. I got most of it down but the last cup refused. It went down the sink.

I’d called the service station to let them know I couldn’t get the tires until next week. After talking to the owner, he told me to come on and get them and pay later. January is the hardest month of the year. I have Christmas to catch up from, both car and homeowner’s insurance, and then property taxes the next month.

It was raining coming out to the mountain so I took it easy on the wet roads. It didn’t take a lot of time waiting for the tires but it did run me late getting home. The owner’s wife and I had a good visit. She has problems with ulcers on her legs and said that sometimes they get deep enough she can see the bone. OOOH! She isn’t that much older than I am, either.

When I got into the house, I went for some kim chee. Then I had a coconut. The meat was less mature than yesterday but still too mature to eat all of it. I put the excess in the freezer. I ate some of the 16 ozzies of strawberries I got yesterday and then blended the rest up with 20 ozzies of OJ. It was dee-licious!

Well, I missed the 30 minute post by a country mile. I’ve been counting out quarters so I can deposit enough money to keep from bouncing checks. There were a couple of Wisconsin quarters that I was hoping were flawed, but no luck there. I have enough cash to buy bananas to do me the rest of the week and I’m okay on everything else. I am “rich and increased in goods and have need of nothing.” Well, that isn’t quite true and it’s taken totally out of context but I do have all the food I need. And it’s all food I want.

I’ve got mung bean sprouts soaking for kim chee. I read about bean sprout kim chee somewhere. I have no idea what it’s supposed to be like but I’ll take a stab at it. I got some probiotics at the organic grocery yesterday to help any of it out. I hope to get some regular veggie kim chee started tomorrow night.

The clock reads after 11. I’m signing off for tonight. The forum is up to 51 members. The other one was at 165 when I shut it down. I’m looking for this one to grow. Come check it out! If you don’t join, you can’t read everything. And you have to be a member to post.

Good night!

Tommie…what do you use to juice your oranges?

An electric Oster juicer. I have a manual one that cranks down and squeezes the oranges very nicely but it doesn’t let me get the pulp. The Oster reams out the pulp and a lot of the membrane which I then chew. YUMMY!
