Mercy! Raw Food Lifestyle is booming!

There aren’t a lot of members yet–40–but there are lots there who are actively posting. That makes all the difference in the world in a good forum. Some start out well and then die. I trust this one will keep chugging along for the rest of my natural life. One thing I do know, I’m going to have to pace myself.

The forum kept me from exercising this morning. No, my being tempted and giving in kept me from exercising. Breakfast was OJ. I took my smoothie to work with me again and drank it after I went to the bank and PO. It was four bananas and spinach.

The weather is cold and windy so I didn’t do any walking. Lunch was a four banana/two large pears/romaine smoothie and two fuyus. One of the nurses asked me what they were and I told her. I offered her a bite to try and she said, “Uh, NO!” I said, “If it were some kind of meat, would you try it?” She said, “Probably. Maybe.” Why on earth would someone turn down some luscious fruit but be willing to eat part of a dead animal? That puzzles me.

Some of the women I work with have 30 minutes of exercise every afternoon. They use Walk Away the Pounds. Since I had gone without this morning, I joined them. The half hour went by quickly. I need to work on my coordination but I did pretty well.

I’d meant to grab some Clementines on my way out this morning and forgot.

When I got home, I had a young coconut. Then I ate a couple of tomatoes with garlic powder. I made a huge salad of romaine, tomato, cucumber (I’ve had better), red onion, parsley, dressed with lime juice. NO SALT! This morning, I weighed 115.6 and that’s because I hadn’t eaten salt yesterday. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

I had all sorts of plans to get things polished up and shiny but I’ve not gotten anything done except the dishes. I do have my clothes ready for tomorrow, tomorrow night (there’s an Agape Feast I’m going to. I’m planning to pick up my friend from the nursing home and take her, too.), and Sabbath. Guess I haven’t been completely do-less.

Better hit the hay! Good night!

Hi there – enjoying your journal!

I make a yummy salt substitute – all it is, is dehydrated and ground celery, tomato and lemon.

I just slice them all up (the whole lemon, seeds and all) and dehydrate them on mesh sheets until they’re dry.

Then I powder them in either the K-tec blender or the Magic Bullet.

I take equal amount of these and put them in a spice jar.

Thanks! I won’t be able to check out your site tonight but it looks interesting. Thanks, too, for the recipe. I’ll have to try that!
