It’s my bedtime. 10 pm.

I’m just now winding up enough to get to blogging. I’d fooled around some today or I would have been where I am now sooner. My own fault.

I got up about 7 this morning and did all my exercises. Breakfast was OJ and a three banana/mango/spinach smoothie. I also had a persimmon. It was getting a little past ripe into overripe. I inspected the rest and moved most of them to the other fridge. I made enough persimmon pudding for Christmas dinner and put it in the freezer.

Other than fooling around, eating, and going to the bathroom, I worked on my bedroom. The last time my daughter and her then fiancé were here, I had to ban them from my bedroom and bath because they weren’t presentable. I’m starting in there so I won’t have to keep the door closed.

When the temperature got up to around 64, I went out and lay in the sun for 15 minutes.

I got the halvah out of the dehydrator and cut it up. Yes, it’s been in there all this time. I put it back to dry out some more. I snacked on the pieces that weren’t too nice to look at and ate quite a bit. Then I had some tomatoes. I don’t know if it was because the halvah was pretty heavy or if it was the combination but I was suddenly so sleepy, I had to go to bed for an hour or so. I more or less dozed.

When I got up, I had a coconut and then had three Clementines. I’ve had three Campari tomatoes, too. Supper was a four banana/two pear/green curly leaf lettuce smoothie. Bob Avery had suggested that I try a spoonful of dulse on my food. I mixed a good tablespoon into some “slaw”. It wasn’t bad at all. I normally don’t like sea veggies. I’ve had some kim chee in addition to everything else.

I do better with my eating when I’m working. I need to work out some kind of routine when I’m home or I’ll be sunk when I retire.

That being said, I need to retire for the night.

Hi Tommy, I was just wondering what recipe you used for the halvah. I’ve been thinking about making some for ages but haven’t found a recipe I like. Also, I’ve never seen one that calls to dehydrate it, only ones that firm it in the freezer.
    Merry Christmas!!

I just winged it. Hulled sesame seed, roughly chopped walnuts, chopped almonds, and raw organic agave nectar. It’s been in the dehydrator forever, it seems.
