I know that it isn’t nearly as cold as it is some places but it’s still cold! Low at my house was 20. It’s 28 now.
I did all of my exercises except for the NT and HR. Breakfast was OJ and a four banana/spinach smoothie. I had to take the smoothie with me again. I have one mango I wanted to put in it but I didn’t have time. I’ve found a way to get around the strings. I peel the mango then slice through to the seed across the strings. I slice very close together–like 1/8 inch. Then I cut it off the seed. When I blend it, the strings are so short that the don’t clump around the blades. It’s not that it slows them down. If I don’t do it that way, I get wads of strings in my smoothie unless I blend it for longer than I should.
My snack was three Clementines. Lunch was a four banana/pear/green curly leaf lettuce smoothie and a huge fuyu.
When I got home, I grabbed a coconut out of the fridge and I had my second fatality of all the coconut I’ve had. It was dark pink inside and the water was pink. I had to toss it and that hurt. I got another one and it was good. I had a couple bites of kim chee
Earlier today, I was thinking some salsa would be nice. Then I thought I should have a salad, too. It occurred to me that the salsa has everything in it I’d put in the salad except for lettuce. So…I made the salsa and put lettuce in it! It was a huge amount of food to eat but I managed all of it. It had four tomatoes, a large chunk of red onion, garlic, red sweet pepper, cilantro, parsley, crushed red pepper, cucumber, avocado, and the lettuce (green curly leaf). It was good! And I didn’t put a single grain of salt on it. I’m so proud of me!
I really do need to get to bed on time tonight and I’ll be able to make it if I wind this up.
BTW, one of my forum friends went to hear Dr. D. last night. I am so jealous! She said Roger was there, too. She said that Dr. D. is “a pretty amazing presenter.” I’ve heard him on the Perfect Health Program and on a teleseminar but I’d love to see/hear him in person!
And now, I’d better do as I said and go to bed.
