Same song, different verse, repeat the chorus.
I “laid out” of work again today. I got up, took a bath, and was in the process of making ready to go when I had to lie down. Figured it wouldn’t be good to have that happen on the mountain road so I called in. Again. I have a good staff. They managed. One of the girls was on call so she was available to come in if needed. With Christmas coming up, there are those who want overtime, anyway.
I’ve had water, an OJ/strawberry blend, some Thai bananas (two or three–I don’t remember), two tomatoes with Tajin, four bananas with raisins (soaked) (Roger’s “oatmeal), and a salad of iceberg lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and a cashew dressing. I wondered how the dressing would do in my stomach but I was ready for something with more substance. So far, so good. The iceberg was a bad choice, though. It was just about icky. For iceberg, it was okay but I’m used to romaine and red leaf and green curly leaf and iceberg is blah!
I called one of the BES members who is also a member on Roger’s forum and we had a good visit. It was like I’ve known her for years. It was the first time we’ve ever spoken outside the forum and, of course, she had to say my Southern accent is “charming”.
Other than laundry, I didn’t get a whole lot done today. I’ve added to the fruit page, too, and that took time.
I’m going to go to bed. Good night and happy Sabbath!
