I have GOT to quit answering e-mails and get this done. It’s well past my bedtime again tonight. The seminar is very interesting but it’s cutting into my “home” time. My sister e-mailed that she and my other sister get very sleepy during the last half hour (it lasts for an hour and a half). That’s no problem for me. I don’t get sleepy at all. I’m not sleepy now. Or tired. But I do want to get adequate rest and sleep tonight.

I got up in time for all of my exercises–BodyFlex, LSEs, the ones that are part of my own routine. The only things I didn’t have time to do were the NT & HR.

Breakfast was WATERMELON!

I filled in for the post office/bank person and stopped by the new produce place in town. They had huge cantaloupes and some watermelons so I got one of each and asked them to hold them for me so I didn’t have to keep them in the hot car.

I got in three laps around the buildings and listened to Tonya Kay.

I did three more laps around the buildings and finished listening to Tonya Kay.

It started storming and pouring down rain close to my quitting time when I was going to go get the melons. During a slack time, I made it out to the car and was on my way. I picked them up and then went to Dollar General and bought a sweater so I wouldn’t freeze tonight.

Since the seminar starts at 6, I decided to go ahead with my plan to stay in the valley. I’d gone prepared for supper–WATERMELON!

The registrar had to go back to the ED while I was eating and didn’t get back into the office by the time I got through. I’d thought that I’d sit in the lobby and wait for her to unlock the office but it was too nice out by then to waste it. I did another three laps. This time, I didn’t have my Micro so I just enjoyed the walk. I counted my steps for one lap and there are approximately 320.

I did a little computer work once back inside and then headed for the church. It was nice to be comfortable with my new sweater. It isn’t a thing of beauty and I wouldn’t have chosen it had it not been the only thing available. It’s a small but it’s a big small. It is plenty roomy on me. It’ll do to keep the chill off.

When I got home, I had some tomatoes. Bet you thought I was going to say I had more WATERMELON! Well, I could have. There is a chunk left in the fridge. I figure I ate probably six quarts today or close to it.

One of my forum friends has been having problems with leaving comments (one came through that I approved on Friday’s post) and seeing the pictures. If any of you are having difficulty, I’d like to know it. Leave comments and tell me if you are or you aren’t. Either way. You can leave them anonymously. I’d appreciate it.

It’s getting later all the time. DID YOU KNOW THAT???

Good night!

I don’t know if it will work for you, but when ever I have trouble sleeping, I get up and do about 5 minutes of intense cardio and then I jump back into bed and usually can fall asleep within a few minutes. It really seems to relax me. Hope it helps.

When I eat nothing but fruit, I don’t get sleepy, no matter what. I’m still able to rest, though, so naught is lost. I’ll try your method if there’s a need, though. Who knows? It might come in handy! Something else that helps to relax is deep breathing like I do with BodyFlex.
