I’d forgotten that I ate some cashews after I dumped the rest of the dip and salad yesterday. I was so sleepy I could hardly hold my eyes open. Sure made a difference in the way I felt.
I made it to bed before 10:15 last night. I’m going to have to hurry so I can do it tonight, too.
There was plenty of time to do all of my exercises this morning and drink more than a quart and a half of green smoothie (banana, mango, and romaine). While I listened to the Sabbath School lesson discussion from Pine Knoll, I fixed some snacks to take with me today.
I showered and left a little before noon. The cemetery and Mother’s grave were on the agenda. I thought she would be distressed that the grass was shaggy but, as I came around the far side, the truck with the grounds crew was there. Next, I was on a mission to find some clothes that fit and some organic groceries and I did both!
Since I am a Working Woman who has to look halfway decent, I invested in some nice slacks and tops. I looked for something for church but there wasn’t anything that I saw in my size that reached out and grabbed me. When I went into the dressing room the first time, I had several pairs of size 8P slacks. It was amazing to put them on and be swallowed whole! I put them back and got some 6Ps and they fit. A year ago, I was thrilled to be able to pour myself into 14Ps.
As I drove to the organic grocery, I snacked on cucumber, celery, and carrot sticks. After I got the things I needed, I headed for Wally World and ate some more of those three plus some dehydrated mango. When I got through there, it was raining and I’d left my umbrella in the car. It wasn’t coming down too hard and I don’t melt so I forged ahead.
When I got home, I had a large piece of watermelon and some marinated cucumber and that’s been it for today.
Better get to bed! Good night, all and Happy Labor Day after the fact!
I encounter the same thing when I eat cashews. I get very sleepy.
