I’m up later than I’d planned–again. This is getting to be an old refrain and it’s monotonous.
I “slept in” until I had to get up or be late for work. I didn’t have time to exercise for how many days in a row? Too many, I know.
Breakfast was a banana/pear/romaine smoothie. I had some cherries for a snack and shared some with the other girls. Lunch was four large bananas.
I walked around the building four times–twice in the morning and twice in the afternoon.
All of the Annual Competencies are completed and turned in. I was so relieved to get them done that I felt like dancing!
I got all of the things in my planner done, too. I was on a roll today!
On the way home, I stopped at the bank for some money, the store for cilantro, parsley, and an avocado, and the church to leave the bulletins and set the organ up. I played the piano a little and it is different. I opened the top and that gives it more volume. I left it that way and gave it a good dusting.
When I got home, I had some tomatoes and mango cut up together and sprinkled with Tajin. I was supposed to have a blended salad but the romaine at the store wasn’t wonderful and I’m getting low. What I have will have to do me until Monday when I pick up my order from the co-op.
I took the food garbage out to the compost pile and visited the fig tree. I was praying, “Lord, please help these figs to grow, mature, and get ripe” when something told me to look up, and lo! there were some mature, ripe figs! They had ants on them and I may have eaten a few. Guess that would give me some protein and B12. There were some without ants, too, that I ate. They were really good! The figs, not the ants. I was thankful and came in.
For my second course (or would that be the third?) I had an ear of corn. Then I had a peach from the Tomato Man’s stand. It was super juicy. That probably wasn’t a good combo but I was just kind of grazing. Not advised.
I’d better get to bed. Tomorrow is when I hold forth on the organ.
Happy Sabbath and good night!
