The clock is chiming 11 and I’m nowhere near getting to bed. I still have the bulletin to do and I told the pastor’s wife hours ago that I’d be working on it. I haven’t yet.

I got up and exercised for 30 minutes this morning. My breakfast was a mango/banana smoothie without any greens! It seemed like something was lacking. It was supposed to have papaya in it but I don’t have any papaya. I’d like to get to the Asian market to buy some but it’s a little far to go just for that.

While it was still reasonably early, I went out and walked for 15 minutes.

My snack was the rest of the Bing cherries. I shared with the others in the office. One of the girls turned them down and I couldn’t understand that at all. Another asked if they had seeds. I told her I have yet to see a cherry that doesn’t. I didn’t point out to her that they are pits.

Lunch was a mango/banana/spinach smoothie and it was good! I was going to put some peaches in, too, but I decided to eat them by themselves.

Yesterday, I had a notice in the mailbox that I had a package at the post office that had to be signed for. It was kind of aggravating since I was going to have to leave work early plus drive a total of 30 miles to get there and back home. I did it and I’m glad it worked out that way. I happened to run into someone who is interested in eating the way I do and we had a good visit, plus I gave her my shopping list for BES. Oh, BTW, the package was Raw Secrets by Frederic Patenaude. I don’t know if it’s on the Products page here yet or not. It’s an excellent book for anyone trying to find their way eating raw food. This is the second edition and is out in hardcover.

Oh! I forgot that I went by and checked on Mother. The cemetery was freshly mowed and there was evidence of the dry weather we’ve been having. The grass is turning brown in lots of places.

Back to my day–I had to stop more than one place to find everything I needed so it was pretty late in the afternoon when I got home. I consulted my BES menu planner and made gazpacho for supper. It was super yummy! I don’t normally care for cilantro but it was good in that combination. I won’t try to list all the ingredients. There were more than I usually eat at one sitting but it was really good. A little later, I ate a mango. It was too late to fix and eat a salad so that’s it for today. I’m going to start fixing romaine ahead to have it ready to throw in a bowl and add the other ingredients so it won’t take so long.

And now, on to the bulletin! I have the covers printed. That much is done. Onward and upward!

    Tommie : )

I’m trying to set up my own raw blog — how’d you get the ticker in your title like that? I can’t figure it out : (

It took me awhile to figure it out, myself. Go to Settings and Description. Copy the html code for your ticker from the Ticker Factory or wherever and paste it under the description for your blog. My description is “A day by day journal of one woman embarking on the raw food lifestyle”. I added the center code to mine. I just noticed that my ticker is at 12 months 4 weeks today!

When you are ready, let me know your address so I can check in on you now and then. Spread the word!
