This is discouraging. I had today’s post all ready and clicked on the publish button before I noticed that my bandwidth had gone to nothing. It was too late and I lost it. Internet Explorer doesn’t “cache” pages the way Opera does. I do wish that Blogger would optimize for Opera, but it seems a lost cause.

Anyhoo, here goes AGAIN. I got up at the crack of dawn and made ready to measure. Even though I’ve recycled some fat this week (124 this morning), I haven’t gone down in size. I do have a droopy butt so I’ve decided that I’m going to incorporate some of the butt-lifting exercises in the BES Fitness Planner tomorrow. If I’m up to it after getting to bed so late tonight, thanks to Microsoft and their Internet Explorer disaster.

I did all of my exercises and more and then it was breakfast. I had a mango/spinach smoothie. More than a quart.

The sun was shining with nary a cloud in the sky but I let the morning get gone without going out and taking advantage of it.

My daughter and I had our Sunday chat for about 45 minutes. I told her that I was on a partial fast today with no bananas but when I looked at the recipes, they did include a couple. I didn’t know I was lying. I still didn’t eat any today.

The rooftop garden is doing well with tomatoes and basil coming in. One unsettling (or settling) thing is that their bathtub is slowly sinking into the kitchen. Someone is supposed to see about it on Tuesday. It’s an old building and it makes one wonder what is supporting it.

I was planning to go to town to get a few things after the call but I was too hungry so I decided to improvise. I had tomatoes, romaine, and basil in a savory smoothie. Maybe it was more of a blended salad but it was good, at any rate. Then I had a cucumber and a tomato chunked up in a bowl.

About 4:30, I went out and got 1/2 hour sun. When I came in, I had a piece of watermelon and then I improvised some more and made mango/peach/date/spinach pudding. I was a little tired of the very sweet by the second bowl so I put the juice of a lemon in it and that helped.

Did you ever figure out how to get things to work in Opera? Opera will allow you to “disguise” itself so that websites think it’s Internet Explorer or Firefox, etc. It’s a good way to get around browser limitations…

I could post on Blogger in Opera but I didn’t have all the features available even though I had it set up to emulate IE. No problem now. I’m using WordPress and I use Opera exclusively. I love WordPress! My son-in-law kept pushing me to try it. I was reluctant but he persisted. I’m so glad he didn’t give up on me!
