I have a little bit of a headache and I believe it’s because of lack of sleep. It did me a fat lot of good to go to bed last night. I had the light out at 10:30 but didn’t go sound asleep for hours. Someone in the neighborhood was burning brush or trash or something and, while I had the windows tightly closed, the smoke managed to come in and it was enough to be aggravating. I covered up my head and breathed through the sheet and was finally able to conk out around midnight if not later.

It was too late when I got up to get all of my exercising in. I did everything but the NT & HR.

Breakfast was OJ and a banana/romaine/pear smoothie. It was busy at work so I never got outside. Besides being chronically short-staffed, I have one out training to be a registrar. She is normally doing data entry but, since everyone is having to wear more hats, she’s expanding her horizons.

My snack was the rest of the cantaloupe. Lunch was my tomato/parsley/lime drink, a banana/spinach/pear smoothie (none of the mangos were ripe enough), and a cucumber.

Some of the squash and zucchini from the other day came back. I ended up with it.

I dropped one of my co-workers by the auto repair shop to pick up her vehicle and headed for the supermarket to get some parsley. They were completely out. So am I. I went on to the pharmacy and got my prescription (finally) and thanked the pharmacist for taking care of me. I also got some new glasses that should be better for work and playing the organ. Then it was on to the Tomato Man’s stand. One of the girls gave me money to pick up tomatoes for her. I was going to ask him for a box full but he was nowhere to be seen. I got a couple of cups and left the money in the little drawer he has there.

It was watermelonaide when I got home. I took the squash to my neighbor. Then I turned part of the zucchini into “pasta” and took the rest of IT to my neighbor. I topped another of the basil plants and made my sauce with two tomatoes this time because I had more “pasta” to put it on. It was very tasty. I think the smaller zucchini the other day was more suited, though.

I’m going to see if I can upload my pictures tonight. You’ll see the results if I can. 🙂 It didn’t work–again. I’m too sleepy to fool with it. I’m going to bed.

    Congratulations on being so close to a full year eating raw food.

    I think it’s absolutely amazing! I will check out your links (I would love to try out the raw food diet, but I will probably have to wait until my son is a bit older.)

    I have no idea why the glittermaker and bannermaker blinkies stopped working.

    Oh that sounds delicious. I have been using a vegetable peeler for my pasta but I’m going to start using the spiral slicer.

    Do you make “noodles” with the peeler? Sounds like that would take a lot of time. My Benriner turns out a pile of “pasta” in just a minute or two.

    Thanks for the congrats, alimum! There are several people on Roger’s forum who are transitioning their kids, too. Seems raw foods do away with a lot of behavioral problems and allergies, at least the program that I’m on. It’s like eating dessert all day and the kids love it!

    I went back and made another sig for the forum. I’m going to figure out how I can reduce the size of it and my tickers and put it on there as part of my profile. If it stops working again, I can just take it out and not be stuck with a little box that says, “Image”. As many characters as it has now, it’s too many.

    Was reading on your blog and found that I’m an oddity in more ways than one. I gave birth, not once but twice, on my due date(s). 🙂
