Twinkle is still concentrating on something. I have a feeling she didn’t dispatch the mouse while I was at work today. She was a little disturbed when I got home this afternoon and seemed out of sorts. She’s still a good cat, for the most part.
I remembered the call last night. A lot of it was priming us for the call this morning–which fell by the wayside. One thing Frederic talked about was the recipe contest. The prize will be the Body Enlightenment System. I’ve entered several smoothie recipes. They will all be put into a drawing so maybe I’ll have a chance.
It was up and at ’em shortly after the alarm went off. I did all of my exercises–BodyFlex, LSE’s, my “back” exercises, NT & HR. I always feel so much better after moving for 45 minutes.
Breakfast was OJ and a banana/pear/romaine smoothie. I took plums to work with me to finish it off (I had to take the smoothie, too). It was so busy that I didn’t have time to get it all down until about 11 CDT. I did manage to get out in the overcast day for 15 minutes this morning. That was after I looked at the clock and discovered that the time for the call was past.
My snack was 1/4 honeydew melon. I don’t pick them as good as yesterday’s.
Lunch was a banana/mango/spinach smoothie, part of a burpless cucumber, and some chopped tomatoes. I about gave my Lunch Bunch partner a heart attack. She wanted some of my tomatoes so I pushed them over to her and told her to help herself. She took some and then pushed her meat around with MY SPOON! When she started to put it back in my bowl, I yelled and grabbed it out of her hand. I took it in the bathroom and thoroughly washed it. When I came back, she wanted to know what was wrong. I told her that I have a real aversion to meat and she had put my spoon on her meat. I didn’t mean to be ugly but it was a natural reaction. When the other member of the LB came in and wanted some tomatoes, she said, “Don’t let her spoon touch your meat. She about had a stroke when it touched mine.” She was careful and I appreciated it.
The mail person didn’t have her car today so I got to leave the MadHouse a little early.
When I got home, I had some watermelon and it wasn’t a whole lot better than what I’d had a couple of days ago. I’m disappointed since I’ve been getting such good ones. Maybe I should turn this into juice and fix some sorbet next week when the Green Cleanse is over.
I whizzed up a banana/blueberry/romaine smoothie and had to add some agave nectar. After I drank that, I called my daughter since I’d missed our visit yesterday. She’s doing well and was telling me about their CSA. They’d gotten some good food in their first distribution.
After we finished talking, I fixed a tomato/parsley/lime juice smoothie. It was delicious.
That’s it for today. I’m going to go to bed soon and read for awhile. It’s been several days since I’ve picked up The China Study.
Good night to one and some!
