50 weeks today!

It’s Sabbath and I’m about ready to go to bed for a good night’s sleep. I’ll update in the meantime.

I’d gotten to bed late last night so when I didn’t feel like waking up when the alarm went off, I stayed in bed for another hour, more or less. I didn’t have time to do my exercises and I won’t do them tomorrow but I’ll live.

Breakfast was OJ and a banana/pear/romaine smoothie. I also had some plums–maybe a half dozen.

I got 15 minutes in the sun this morning. After that, I had some cantaloupe for my snack. Lunch was a banana/mango/spinach smoothie, cucumber, and “chili”. Yesterday, I forgot that I had an ear of corn, too.

I made a quick trip to town to get some cucumbers but they’d sold them all. When I got off work, I went to the supermarket and bought greens, apricots, and a European cucumber.

After I went by the church and practiced a little, I came on out to the mountain and stopped at the roadside stand. I stocked up on fruit, cantaloupe, and watermelon. I got another small ear of corn, too. I’m supposed to have plenty of food in the house for the Green Cleanse and I think I do. I’ll have to eat a lot to keep it from spoiling.

It was “Home, James, and don’t spare the horses.” I got unloaded, got everything put away, and had the last piece of watermelon. I put the whole one in the fridge so it will be cold for tomorrow. After I did a couple other things, I had a smoothie of bananas and romaine and then some tomatoes with Tajin. That’s the last Tajin I’ll eat for a week. Since corn isn’t on the menu starting tomorrow, either, I ate the corn. It was quite tasty but not as tender as the first.

Nothing noteworthy happened today. I’ll let this be it and wish one and all a Happy Sabbath!

    Happy 50 weeks!
I love green vegetables. The past week my body has been craving them at every single meal so I have been eating plenty of green salads and making a few green drinks.

Hmm, perhaps I should keep track of my “Rawniversary”. 🙂

Today is the first day of the Green Cleanse. I’ll be calling in at 10 for encouragement/direction. This time, it’s a twice a day call–for me, 10 am and 10 pm (wish that were earlier). It sounds like you wouldn’t have to be prodded!

For sure, keep track of your “Rawniversary”. It’s interesting to see how the weeks count up. Two weeks from today will be a year for me. You could put a ticker on your blog to keep track. I checked your blog out this morning and the “burger” looks amazing. Could you post the recipe? Including the marinade? I won’t be able to eat anything like that until the Cleanse is over but I can look to the future!

Better get on to other things. The clock is always ticking!

I will definitely post the recipe. I plan to make them again today. I rarely measure but I will today. 🙂
