Not much to report today. I did my vision therapy this morning. Breakfast was OJ and a banana/romaine/pear smoothie.

I went out to sun so early that the light was still coming through the trees. I ended up staying 45 minutes–15 minutes on the front, 15 on the back, and an additional 15 on the front.

Slushie

When I came back in, I had a strawberry orange “slushie”.
It was pretty hot outside which made it a nice, refreshing drink.

I worked on the house some more but still not enough.

Lunch was a banana/romaine smoothie and tomatoes without Tajin!

The sky clouded up but nothing ever came of it. I went out for another half hour.

I had half of one of the watermelons I got on Sunday. It was okay but not nearly as good as the ones I’ve been eating.

I was feeling lazy this afternoon. I lay down and finished the first chapter in The China Study. I read some in Beating the Food Giants, too.

Supper was tomatoes (again without Tajin) and a salad of romaine and cucumbers with dressing of lime juice, EVOO, agave nectar, onion powder, garlic powder, and sea salt.

Yesterday, I forgot that I finished the rest of the large cantaloupe.

60% down and 40% to go. Good night!

Smoothies are so convenient and nutritious. My daughter loves them and so do I. I made a cantaloupe smoothie last evening. I ground up pepitas and added it to the drink. We loved it!
I love those angels (so cute) and that book cover!

My daughter got the angels for me when she was going to college in Spain. I had a book like that when I was three years old. It got lost, eventually. I got that copy off eBay several years ago. Recapturing my youth!
