This is earlier than I usually blog but I’m hoping to get to bed fairly early tonight.

I slept in until the clock said 7:34. Since everything has been moved 15 minutes later at church, I had plenty of time. It isn’t just the 15 minutes. I also took the day off exercise-wise.

Breakfast was OJ, a banana/pear/romaine smoothie, and half a large mango. I didn’t cut down on anything since I would be free to get up and go potty whenever I needed to.

I got to the church while they were still having song service. I got to sit back and sing for a change and even picked out one of the songs.

When I got home, I had a banana/blueberry/spinach smoothie. Then I had half a large cucumber and some “chili”.

The sun had gotten past the high mark enough that I went out and basked for half an hour. It was HOT! When the timer dinged, I was dripping with sweat.

I came in and changed into something looser and dry and had 1/4 of the large cantaloupe I cut yesterday. Then I had some watermelon.

The other day, I took pictures of my eggplant pizza. Here they are:

The “cheese” is hiding one piece of it. It was better without it.

I liked the mix of tomato, orange sweet pepper, onion, EVOO, Italian seasoning and sea salt so much that I fixed some this morning and put it in the dehydrator. It almost filled a Corningware cake pan.

After my watermelon had time to settle, I had a banana/romaine smoothie. I was going to do something else with my salad romaine which wouldn’t give me my usual amount of greens.

I was going to eat half of it and save the rest for tomorrow but it was so good, I polished it off. I could have eaten more if there had been more. As it is, I’m through for today.

Frederic Patenaude is starting another Green Cleanse on June 6 using the Green for Life Program. I’m going to wait and see what it involves before I decide whether to do it or not. I got a lot of benefits from it before so I may just have to do it, anyway. I do hope that I can eat all the good fruit and veggies that will be coming in by that time. The old appetite rears its head again! At least it wants good food. There’s a wealth of information in all the parts of the program.

It’s time to hang this up and get ready for bed. I’ve finally gotten started on The China Study by T. Colin Campbell. I’m still wading through the preliminaries. Good night!

    Oh the pictures look fabulous.
    Is the “cheese” made out of some type of nuts?
    I made some type of eggplant pizza, in my dehydrator, at the end of last year.
    I made a raw sunflower pate yesterday. My daughter gobbled it up. I was going to wrap the remaining pate into kale and collards wraps for her lunch but she ate it before I could do that, lol. She turned three years old last Sunday.

    The China Study is an excellent read. I bought the book last month. T. Collin Cambell gave a lecture here in Maryland not too long ago. I wish I could have attended.

    The nuts are really raw cashews. I used to like it a lot–I could eat it with a spoon. My tastebuds have changed to the point that I prefer plainer food. I don’t use a lot of nuts and seeds any more. When I make cashew dressing, it’s thin enough that it’s pretty light.

    I haven’t really gotten into the book yet. I read the rest of the introduction last night. It’s getting late so I probably won’t attempt any reading after I get to bed.
