The bulletin problems are rearing their ugly heads again. This time, it’s the husband of the former bulletin secretary who has fallen down on the job. If anyone should realize that I need the info, it would be the two of them but I guess I overestimated this time. I had it all fixed with a fake sermon title (The Mystery) and hymns and a scripture I picked out myself but I had second thoughts and took them out. I hate to leave anything blank.

I was up in plenty of time to get everything in. Breakfast was OJ, a peach (small but good), half a large mango, and a banana/romaine smoothie.

The weather didn’t cooperate this morning for me to go out in the sun. When I did get outside, it was sprinkling.

My snack was two kiwi and the rest of the mango. Lunch was cantaloupe, a smoothie of bananas and spinach, and “chili”.

The sky cleared somewhat this afternoon so I took advantage of it. It felt good to get out of the madhouse that usually prevails in my area. We are reception, cashier, switchboard, information, admitting for inpatient/swingbed/skilled, and registration for outpatient and ER. It can get pretty wild at times and then there are times when it’s dead in the water.

When I left work, I swung by and bought bananas to do me for awhile. I’m taking next week off and I hope to be able to live off what I have here and not have to make many trips to the store.

After I got home and unloaded, I had a large piece of watermelon, tomatoes with Tajin, and a medium-sized salad with tomato/mango dressing. I got the recipe for it out of Instant Raw Sensations. It was delicious but some of the darker green romaine was a little bitter. I forged ahead and ate it. I was still a little hungry after I finished so I had a peach and half a large pear. I could have made more of the dressing to drink but I didn’t. It is really tasty.

I’m not going to hear anything tonight re: the bulletin, I don’t believe, so I think I’ll head to bed. Good night and sweet dreams!
