Yoho yoho, it’s a pirate’s life for me! I don’t know why that just came to mind. Strange things do happen.

I had to cut down a little on the NT & HR this morning but I did everything otherwise.

I’d gotten an organic eggplant in my last order. Day before yesterday, I sliced it and salted it down so it would drain. I forgot it and left it out all night. When I got up yesterday, I rinsed it and put it in the dehydrator. When I got home, I took it out and put it in a plastic bag in the freezer. This morning, I put three pieces on a plate and covered them with a mixture of chopped tomatoes, onion, and yellow sweet pepper, EVOO, sea salt, and Italian seasoning. I covered it with plastic wrap and put it in the dehydrator.

Breakfast was OJ, half a large mango–I got a little impatient and cut into one. It was decent but I think it would have been better if I’d waited another day or two. I also had a banana/romaine smoothie.

The sun was actually visible today. I got 15 minutes. It was very pleasant.

I took the other half mango for my break and forgot to eat it. I had it, the other half huge pear, a banana/spinach/cucumber smoothie, and “chili” for lunch. It was too much. I was overstuffed. The fullness doesn’t last long, fortunately.

It was clear all day so I took advantage and went out for another 15 minutes this afternoon.

On my way home, I stopped to pick up my tomatoes but they weren’t there. I bought a cup plus two huge red sweet peppers.

It wasn’t long until I got home. I’d gotten a couple of huge cantaloupes when I was in town yesterday so I cut one in half, ate it, and put the rest in the fridge. I still have a watermelon but I let the cantaloupe suffice. I had some “chili” and then whizzed up some cashew “cheese” to top the “pizza”. I drizzled it on one piece and ate it. It was okay. I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. I’ll put the other two away for later. If it’s like it usually is, I’ll throw them out at some point. I just don’t do very well with recipes. I do better with plain old simple food. I put the rest of the “cheese” on my salad. I would have preferred it as a dressing without the sweet pepper. I cut the huge peppers up and put them in the freezer for hard times. Or when I make something to take somewhere.

Guess I’d better get ready for bed. It’s about that time.

    You know when it comes to raw recipes I’m like you. I do best with plain simple foods, in fact I prefer it. My tastebuds seem to be changing weekly. I’m discovering more flavors. I had my first colonics last week and wow the subtle flavors I was tasting in my raw vegetables and fruit were amazing.

    Raw fruits and veggies are luscious, for sure! I don’t do any cleanses or colonics or anything of that sort. I just try to eat the best food I have available.
