Exercised all of my body parts that I usually do. Breakfast was OJ and a banana/romaine smoothie.

It was another dreary day, though it didn’t rain until after I got home and got everything unloaded. I didn’t attempt to go outside for anything since it was fairly chilly.

My mid-morning snack was watermelon eaten at my desk.

Lunch was a banana/spinach smoothie, cucumbers, and “chili”. It was a good day for it, too.

I had to take the mail to the post office this afternoon so I stopped by the store and got 12+ pounds of bananas. They are a little on the green side but the produce lady took me to where they had boxes lined up toward the back and helped me find some that were a little better.

Since today was organic produce day, I waited until I got my call to go meet the person who picked it up and left. The mangos are some of the nicest I’ve had for a long, long time. Maybe since my husband brought me bags full back from Florida. That’s years and years ago. I remember that the trunk smelled like mangos for months after that. It was wonderful and frustrating at the same time.

It hit me just a few minutes ago that I didn’t get any spinach in the order. I have one bag left from what I got the other day. It has today’s date on it but it was marked down. I don’t know why and I didn’t ask. I was just glad to get it.

The pears and strawberries are about the biggest I’ve ever seen. I had some of the strawberries after I got everything squared away. They have a good flavor.

Since I’d had watermelon this morning, I didn’t have any this afternoon. After the berries, I had tomatoes with Tajin and then a big salad of romaine, cucumber, and cashew dressing. Oh, the romaine looks good this time. They’d left it in the box it came in so I had to scare up some plastic bags to put it in the fridge.

I have to get up early in the morning and fix stuff for a salad for a retirement party for one of the nurses. Salsa was requested but I don’t have all of the ingredients.

Better get to bed! Good night!

well tommie seems a shame for you to give up your blog , which i read with regularity. All of the other food bloggers are climbing on to the raw food bandwagon now, so i think you should stand up and say you were blogging about it first.

It’s news to me that I’m going to give up blogging. Can you show me where I said that? As for being the first raw food blogger, I’m afraid I’m behind a long line of them. There are just more jumping on behind me. There’s plenty of room! If you are inspired to do it, have at it! We can all keep each other pumped!
