I’m up ‘way too late again and it’s all because of the (excuse my language) durn bulletin. I talked to the pastor this morning and asked him to be sure to get the info to me so I could get it done tonight but nothing so far. I’ve gotten everything in that I can and that’s all I can do.

I was up and at ’em in time to get in all of my exercises this morning. I don’t know that I will be tomorrow but it does make me feel good.

Breakfast was OJ, part of a large mango, and a banana/romaine smoothie that I even had time to drink before I took my shower!

It was a rainy day again so I didn’t get outside. My mid-morning snack was the rest of the mango.

Lunch was a banana/spinach smoothie, half a large cucumber, and three Campari tomatoes. One of the nurses informed me that I don’t get enough protein. I don’t know how she should even pretend to know because she isn’t privy to everything I eat. For that matter, most people get too much protein which can cause all sorts of problems. “Eating excessive protein, like most Americans do, is bad for your kidneys, liver, bones, cardiovascular system, and promotes vitamin and mineral deficiencies. It causes dehydration and is linked to osteoporosis, hypertension, and some forms of cancer. Too much protein is a bad thing.” WATCH OUT FOR TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING. Most people who eat SAD get three to four times as much protein as they should, if not more. If the nurse who was counseling me were the picture of health, that would be one thing but she has to be well over 200 pounds and she smokes!

When I got home, I had a large piece of watermelon, tomatoes with Tajin, and a large salad with really raw cashew dressing. I probably got more fat and protein than I should have today but I’m not going to figure it out. The damage is done.

It’s 30 minutes past my bedtime so I’d better close this down and fly up.
