Easter morning found me in bed until 6:30! Sleeping in again! When I got up, first thing I did (almost) was measure. I’ve lost an inch and a quarter since the last time I measured which was three weeks ago. I weighed in at 133 lubs.
I did all my exercises. Breakfast was OJ and a banana/spinach smoothie. It was getting a little late in the morning by that time so I hurried and put on the well-known bikini and went out to sun for 1/2 hour.
When I came in, I had a couple of tomatoes with Tajin. Later, I had another smoothie. This time, it was bananas and romaine.
I’ve been working on getting the compost pile to the point where I can use some of it. The VitaMix that was sitting in the cabinet, unused, is chopping up my garbage prior to being added to the pile. I have so much! There are banana peelings, orange rinds, watermelon rinds, cucumber peelings, tomato skins, and the list goes on and on. I was going to give the VitaMix away at one time, to the people who were supposed to move my furniture over from the other house but I’m glad I didn’t. I’m not glad it isn’t moved, though…
My daughter called and we visited for an hour and a half. It was good to get caught up. We hadn’t had a chance to talk for a couple of weeks.
After that, I had some watermelon. This one isn’t as good as the other one or maybe sitting for a week didn’t help it. After that, it was more tomatoes with Tajin. Then I made a salad that was too big. A woman on the Yahoo forum was talking about putting her salad in a food processor and chopping it up. It wasn’t bad but I still couldn’t finish it.
Since it was Easter, I made some “meatballs” from the Maw in the Raw blog. She has a ton of recipes on there. They are based a lot on nuts and use things that I’m trying to stay away from but I figured the “meatballs” without the Braggs would be okay. They turned out to be not too tasty. I ate one and wish I hadn’t. I made some cashew gravy (cashews, water, sea salt, onion powder) and it was pretty good. I’m going to try to salvage the “meatballs” but I have no idea how. I ate a couple of pods of durian so it was still a celebration. One caution about the blog–if you are on dialup, it will take a LONG time to load because it is full of pictures.
Somewhere in there, my brother-in-law called with a computer question and I was on the phone with him until almost 9 when his cell phone died. I got online and e-mailed him so when he called back on the land line, he got CallWave. He said he was going to hang it up for tonight, anyway. I got to talk to my sister, too.
I’m sitting here, yawning, so I guess I should hang this up and go to bed. My SIL is sending me info about yurts. My husband and I had looked at them once upon a time. They can be beautiful. We were reading about them in “Mother Earth News”. There was no getting online then.
Good night!
What is the weight you’d like to achieve?

Well, my interim goal is 120 lbs. BTW, when I was a kid, I thought lbs. should be pronounced “lubs”. When I get to 120, I’ll probably have another goal. We’ll see.
As for yurtworks, that’s the site my SIL sent me! Beautiful!
