I’ve let the time slip away again. I’m getting bad about that.

I was able to get myself out of bed an hour earlier than usual this morning. I think the main reason the time change has always been so hard on me is because I was tired to begin with. Now that I’m not, I don’t think it’s going to be quite such a big deal. I still don’t like it but that’s a head thing and not a body thing.

There was plenty of time to exercise, including the NT & HR. Breakfast was OJ and a banana/romaine smoothie.

I got to work on time. I spent my 15 minutes outside in the sun. It felt good.

Since this was the first day of Patient Access Week, I put up the banner and got the girls a sandwich tray from Subway. I also got some grape juice, apple juice, potato chips (that shocked the cashier at the supermarket–she knows I only eat raw food), cucumber, grape tomatoes, and grapes. I ate some of the fresh stuff and then I went and had my banana/spinach/blueberry smoothie, Campari tomatoes, and celery.

When I got home, I cut the watermelon. It isn’t wonderful. Not bad but I’m glad I didn’t get two. Then I had tomatoes with Tajin. Next was a large salad. I should have left it at that but I had a “burger” with “gravy”. A little too much. I used to be able to eat and eat and still not be satisfied but I would have felt better if I’d left the last off. Maybe someday I’ll learn.

I think I’ve about had it with Fitday. It takes more time than I have to keep it updated. I have a pretty good handle on how much it takes for me to get the calories I need. It’s been a useful tool. Trouble is, it’s gotten to be a burden. And if anyone wants to see the amounts of food I eat, all they’ll have to do is click back in the last few months. I started keeping it in July 2005 and it’s interesting to see how my diet has evolved over time. However, I do think I’ll record my weight.
