It’s late and it’s my fault that I’m not already in bed. I had most of the bulletin info that I needed last night. I could have done it then but I didn’t. I can’t blame anyone but myself.

I got up in time to do all my exercises this morning.

Breakfast was OJ, half an orange, and a smoothie of bananas, pear, peaches, and spinach.

Break was an orange and some grapes. It was beautiful today so I ate them outside and basked in the sun.

The weeping cherry in front of my parking spot at the hospital is in full bloom. The Bradford pears didn’t get bit, after all, but they are past their prime now. Other things are taking over, though. The anemones in the front yard of a house in town are gorgeous. I watch for them every year and they aren’t a disappointment. The tulip trees have bloomed and are gone. The bony trees of winter are showing a haze of fresh spring green. And the redbuds are beginning to show some color. Wonder why they are called REDbuds? They are purple!

Lunch was the rest of the grapes, two kiwi, a pear, and a banana. I had taken four bananas but they aren’t fully ripe and I don’t like them unless they are.

I’m being badgered to post a picture of me. I’ll see if my son will take some this weekend. It/they won’t be the usual before/during picture(s) but it/they should satisfy for now. I don’t know what the fuss is about. I’ve about gained back what I lost last week.

When I got home, I had some tomatoes with chili powder and then a big salad. I kind of went all out with it. Romaine, arugula, cucumber, tomato, onion, avocado–dressed with lime juice, EVOO, garlic/onion powder, sea salt, agave nectar. About a million calories.

Good night!

PS–I was about to climb into bed when I realized I hadn’t said anything about The Meatrix II: Revolting. It premiered yesterday. If you haven’t seen the original, you can see The Meatrix and get “caught up”. It takes awhile to load on dialup so be patient if that’s what you have. It’s worth the wait. Both of them are showing big agribusiness at its worst. I would love to see Moopheus in “person”!
