I just got a glimpse of TOM SELLECK when I was turning off the TV. I’d had the Olympics on for the first time tonight but he was on a different channel. I don’t have time to watch him. I’m getting to bed late tonight as it is.
Today went better than yesterday. I felt up to doing all of my exercises, including the NT and HR. So…that makes a good habit that I upheld today. I have the e-book that Frederic Patenaude sent out to all the participants of the 21 Day Challenge so I can make some more good habits but I haven’t decided when I’m going to start it.
However, I digress. Breakfast was OJ and a banana/blueberry smoothie. I still haven’t felt up to a green smoothie yet. Break was an orange. Lunch was bananas and a pear.
When I got home, I had half a mango. I’m cutting back some on the OJ. I was brave and decided that I would attempt a salad. I had quite a large one of romaine, Boston, cucumber, a little green onion, tomato, dressed with avocado blended with a little water and lime juice. It wasn’t quite enough so I put a drizzle of olive oil on it. That would probably elicit a groan from 811rv people but I’m doing what I have to do to get some nourishment into myself.
I had a good visit with Roger tonight. He’s been very good at supporting me through the rough spots. I’ve been fortunate to find him to walk me through the adventure called “Transitioning to Raw Food”. It should be the simplest thing in the world but it isn’t for people who have eaten cooked all their lives–and that includes most of us. He has a good head on his shoulders and has made all the mistakes for his forum members but he still realizes that we have to make some of our own, too.
Twinkle has been looking for something to eat. I’ll have to feed her before I go to bed or banish her to the bathroom so I think I’ll feed her. She helps keep my feet warm.
