I was over half an hour late getting to bed last night so I want to be sure I’m there on time tonight. I failed to add three hours to the time last night, too, so it was 10:19 when I started my post instead of 7:19. I don’t always think to change it because it’s hidden now where it used to be hanging right out there.
Yesterday’s food is posted on fitday and I don’t guess it makes any difference to anyone but me what order I ate it in.
This morning, I overslept by quite a bit and had to rush around when I finally got up. I didn’t have time to exercise at all. Breakfast was OJ and a smoothie of bananas, peaches, and my last organic kale leaf. It was good but I think I’ll rinse the peaches next time. I could taste the citric acid.
Break was two Honeybelles, the last of my purchase. They were good while I had them. Really sweet and juicy.
Lunch was bananas, celery, and cucumber.
I went to one of the local supermarkets and they had good-smelling strawberries for a reasonable price so I got a couple of cartons. When I checked out, I went through the line of one of the daughter of one of my co-workers. She said that she’d been seeing the berries coming through and would have to buy some. She said they look good. I told her that, more important, they smell good. She laughed. I told her that it doesn’t matter how good they look, if they don’t smell good, I don’t buy them. I stopped by the roadside market and tomatoes have dropped in price by more than half so I sprung for a box. I wanted to get some oranges, too, but they didn’t have any boxes. She’ll have a box for me Monday.
When I got home, I had an OJ/strawberry smoothie. Then I had a bowl of tomatoes. I hadn’t had that many at once for awhile so I just had three. Then I used my second and last ear of corn to make chowder. I used really raw cashews in it and I don’t feel like I’m getting instant narcolepsy like I usually do so maybe it’s true that the other ones aren’t really raw.
Twinkle kept meowing at me after she finished her medallion tonight so I got out another one and thawed it. She’s wolfed it down, too. The cat is going to eat me out of house and home.
I’d better log my food on fitday and get to bed.
Good night and Happy Sabbath!
