Yesterday’s calorie count was 1300 with 14% fat and 8% protein. I didn’t have my customary midmorning meal.

I got up too late this morning to exercise so I just did my vision therapy.

Breakfast was a peach here and dates and a smoothie that I took to work. It was banana/pear. I had found a decent watermelon at Wal*Mart. I had my usual watermelon break a little after 11.

Lunch was a large salad of romaine, Boston, forgot the parsley, onion, avocado, tomato, and lime juice.

I was walking past the lab and one of the nursing home employees stopped me and said, “I hear that you are losing weight.” I asked him, “Do you hear or can you see?” He said he could tell that I was. That’s gratifying.

I stopped at the veggie stand and the owner told me that the green tomatoes will be available any time since there was scattered frost this morning. I’m going to pick them up tomorrow.

Supper was a large bowl of tomatoes, then I killed a pineapple that I’d bought yesterday. It is huge and the best one that I’ve had since my sister-in-law brought some from Hawaii. I ate some plain and then blended some with banana for a smoothie.

Today’s calories were 1560 with 14% fat and 7% protein.

I’m going to bed. Good night!
