My breakfast was a Romans Gone Wild smoothie

My breakfast was a Romans Gone Wild smoothie (bananas and romaine but no water) and lunch was pretty much the same as yesterday. So is my weight. The little marker is standing there like it’s trying to get away. Maybe it will move more to the left in the next few days. Oh, Nancy brought some cantaloupe from her garden and I had some of that for breakfast, too.

Today was a nice day so I spent my morning watermelon break outside. One of the lab techs was out there and after she finished text messaging on her phone, we started talking about eBay and diet. Kind of an odd combination but she was telling me about another of the techs who has lost a lot of weight on the South Beach Diet.

After work, I went to Wal*Mart via my mother’s grave. The caladiums had a lot of dried grass on them where someone had been weed-eating but it was obvious that they had been careful not to get too close. I pulled the grass off and they looked a lot better. Some of them have broad leaves and some long and narrow but they are all the same red and green. After a few minutes, I went on to town.

I got my groceries (what a relief not to have to read labels) and got a pair of pantyhose in a smaller size! On the way out, I stopped to talk to my friend who is interested in the Hallelujah Diet. He told me he’s 66 and wants to spend the rest of his life in the best health possible. His doctor tried to put him on medication and he said to give him three months to get his levels better. If they are, he gets to stay off the med and if they aren’t, he’ll go on it. I’d hazard a guess that they will be better.

When I got home, I fixed a bowl of tomatoes, then had some “cole slaw” with napa cabbage, carrot, celery, green pepper, and a dab of “dip”. I had enough left for tomorrow. Then I got out the pate from yesterday, mixed some nutritional yeast flakes with it, and had it with a couple of stalks of celery. My fat percentage was looking really good until I put the cashews on it and it zoomed from 10% to 12%. My calories were over by 150 but that isn’t bad, considering I burned around 2350 today.

I need to get to bed but I have clothes in the washer and I can’t fly up until they are finished. I can, at least, prepare.
