I made the salad and it wasn’t bad

I made the salad and it wasn’t bad but there are some things I would do differently next time. I wouldn’t put as many greens in and I wouldn’t forget the celery. I also forgot cucumber but I think the celery would have improved it more.
The ingredients are:
Blended Salad
2 small tomatoes chunked up
A small amount of distilled water
Put both ingredients in the VitaMix and pulse to break the tomato up and liquify it.
2 kale leaves, torn into small pieces
1/4 large white onion, cut into pieces
Romaine
Raddichio
Spinach
Red/green/yellow sweet pepper
1 carrot, peeled and sliced
Alfalfa sprouts
Sea salt
Blend the rest of the ingredients. I grated some jicama to put on top for crunch but the carrot had stayed a little chunky so there was still something to chew.

I couldn’t eat the whole thing so there’s some to put on the compost pile and after I finished what I could, I still wasn’t satisfied. I ate some green seedless grapes and a banana. I was almost overwhelmed with the desire for something cooked, crunchy, and salty so I went to the fridge and got out the celery and cucumber. I ate a big stalk of celery with sea salt and a whole little pickling cucumber with the same. Sorry, but I had to peel the cucumber after the first couple of bites. I like burpless cucumber with the peeling on but pickling cucumber peeling is a little tough. I’m good for tonight.

By the way, I had the last three squares of a dark chocolate bar and I’ve decided (unless I change my mind) to give my last four, tied with a big bow, to the radiologist who is retiring. He loves dark chocolate, too, and I know he’d appreciate it.

My only drawback to going raw is that there isn’t a whole lot of access to organic food in this area. I wash everything carefully and can only hope that I’m not getting a large amount of pesticides.

Day four brought more energy and I found myself “power walking” down the hallway at work. I’m anxious to see what tomorrow will bring!
